The Perfect Circle Whiskies are produced by Shiki Shuzo Co. Ltd. in Japan. This distillery collaborates with many local Japanese distilleries. Shiki Shuzo is an independent company that has a business relationship with Matsui Shuzo, the producer of Kurayoshi whisky.

"Enso" is a sacred symbol in Zen Buddhism and means "circle." This calligraphy is traditionally drawn with a single brushstroke and then never altered. This whisky bears this sacred Japanese symbol, designed by the Japanese calligrapher Juju Kurihara, who also runs the "Sosekido" school in Japan.

The Maen Perfect Circle Whisky is a blend of malt and grain whiskies, distilled two to three times in copper pots and aged between three and five years. Maturation takes place for 8 years in American white oak bourbon casks.
