The Carlos I 1520 Brandy de Jerez Solera Gran Reserva is an outstanding bottling from the traditional Osborne Distillery, a Spanish family business founded in Cádiz in 1772, and has always been known for its exquisite brandy. The brandy's name is a tribute to the Spanish King Carlos I and refers to the heritage and history of the Jerez region, famous worldwide for its sherries and brandies.

The creation of this brandy was originally a fortunate coincidence: In 1886, the then cellar master of the Osborne family discovered a forgotten grape distillate that had matured in old sherry casks. Through the long aging process and the influence of the sherry, the distillate developed an exceptionally soft and multi-faceted aroma structure.

The Carlos I Brandy is a blend of various centuries-old soleras, originating from the family's private casks, and is matured using the traditional Solera method. With an alcohol content of 41.1% Vol., this brandy unfolds a complex aromatic profile with a perfect balance of fruity, woody, and spicy notes.
