The village of Abergwyngregyn, home to the Aber Falls distillery, is picturesquely situated at the foot of the famous Aber Falls waterfall. Every year, this idyllic spot – better known by its historic name, Aber Garth Celyn – attracts over 50,000 visitors and is easily accessible, situated directly on the A55 and just a short distance from the coast.

Over the centuries, the village has been home to a slate factory, a margarine factory during the World Wars, and, most recently, a warehouse for beverage wholesalers. The lovingly restored and refurbished building now serves as the ideal production facility for spirits that embody the passion and skill of the craft.

Aber Falls Single Malt Welsh Whisky is made from 100% Welsh barley malt and rock-filtered water from the Aber Falls waterfall. Maturation takes place in a traditional peat-smoked warehouse on the Menai Strait, whilst distillation utilises a combination of copper and stainless steel stills. The whisky matures in Oloroso sherry, PX sherry, bourbon and virgin oak casks, contributing to its rich and full-bodied flavour.
