The Tomintoul Distillery is located in the Scottish Highlands in the Cairngorms National Park. Tomintoul was named after the village of Tomintoul, which is located near the distillery. The whisky distillery opened in 1964 and is now owned by Angus Dundee Distillers.

The Tomintoul TUNDRA is produced in this environment. It is matured in American oak bourbon casks.
