The Lochlea Distillery is an independent single malt distillery located on Lochlea Farm in Ayrshire, near Glasgow in the Lowlands. The old farm was converted into a distillery with a customs warehouse. The distillery began operations in August 2018.

Former Laphroaig Distillery Manager John Campbell runs the family business. The Scottish poet, Robert Burns, lived and farmed on the farm from 1777 to 1784.

The barley for production is grown and harvested on-site. The water is sourced from limestone springs deep beneath the distillery. This allows for complete traceability from field to bottle.

This single malt whisky matures in First Fill Bourbon Barrels, Oloroso Sherry Butts, and STR Barriques. "STR" stands for "Shaved, Toasted and Re-charred" barriques.

The bottling is non-chill filtered and uncoloured.
