The group was founded in 1948 by Mr. Radhakrishna Jagdale, initially as a small spirits blending and bottling facility.

Amrut Whisky proudly stands as India's first single malt whisky. Its name means "nectar of the gods/life," reflecting the exceptional quality and enjoyment this whisky offers.

This single malt matures in oak casks, is triple distilled, and bottled at its natural color without chill filtration.
