Founded in 1995 by Hans Reisetbauer, the Reisetbauer distillery has established itself in Axberg, Upper Austria. A special characteristic of the distillery is its focus on sustainable agriculture: all raw materials needed for production are organically grown and harvested in its own fields. The entire process, from bottling and labeling to packaging the bottles, is carried out manually and with the utmost care. With the entry of Hansi Junior, the company underwent a modernization, reflected in the new design of packaging, labels, and brand name, combining tradition and innovation.

The production of the 4X50 Finely Distilled Superior Rum, under the direction of Hans Reisetbauer, took nearly ten years. This rum, 82% of which is produced in-house, is aged in high-quality Ysper oak barrels. The additional 18% of the rum is sourced from contributions from two Jamaican distilleries as well as selected distilleries in Guyana, Nicaragua, Venezuela, and Guatemala. With a sugar content of less than 3 grams per liter and an alcohol content of 40.5%, the 4X50 offers fruity and smoky flavor notes.

This Superior Rum, referred to as "social rum," was developed in cooperation with friends, which is reflected in the name 4X50 – a number that pays tribute to four collaborators and fifty friends.
