The Macallan M 2022 is one of The Macallan’s darkest bottlings. The bottle, designed in collaboration with Fabien Baron and Lalique, takes the form of an expressive black crystal decanter. Lalique, one of the leading companies in the crystal glass industry in France, and Fabien Baron, Creative Director of the Baron & Baron brand, contributed their expertise to the design.

As The Macallan is constantly refining its whiskies, this whisky has developed a greater depth than most of the smoky Macallans produced previously. The distillates used for the Macallan are carefully selected by hand, and the whisky is matured in ex-sherry casks chosen by the Macallan Master of Wood. It is this special maturation process that gives the Macallan M Black its pleasant and natural flavours.
