Nonino Grappa Monovitigni Vendemmia 40% vol. 0.5 l + GB stands for uncompromising artisanal grappa production and embodies the philosophy of the renowned Nonino Distilleria, which has been setting standards in quality and varietal expression for generations. For this bottling, the Nonino family uses exclusively high-quality, single-varietal Monovitigno grape marc, which is carefully destemmed, processed whilst fresh and deliberately kept soft. The selection of the marc depends heavily on the respective vintage and guarantees an authentic, unadulterated style.


Fermentation takes place anaerobically without additives in stainless steel tanks to fully preserve the varietal aromas. This is immediately followed by batch distillation in exclusive copper steam stills, refurbished by Benito Nonino, with the heads and tails consistently separated. This very slow distillation process ensures that the volatile, aroma-forming components can evaporate and condense optimally. After distillation, the grappa is left to rest for between 6 months and a year in stainless steel, which creates harmony and balance without compromising the pure character of the grape variety.
