The family-owned company Caffo is headquartered in Limbadi, Calabria, and operates several distilleries producing high-quality spirits. The company's roots trace back to the late 19th century when Guiseppe Caffo began distilling pomace. In 1915, he acquired an old distillery in Sicily and initially specialized in producing grape brandies.

To produce the Vecchio Amaro del Capo Red Hot Edition, the distillers use a unique process in which selected herbs and spices are macerated in pure alcohol for several weeks. After this extended maceration period, the mixture is distilled in copper pot stills. The resulting distillate is then mixed with water and sugar to achieve the desired taste and alcohol content.

Thanks to the family's dedication and support, the product range has been continuously expanded and now includes an impressive variety of spirits.
