Founded in 1798, Tobermory Distillery is one of Scotland's oldest distilleries, located in Tobermory on the Isle of Mull. Since its establishment, it has experienced turbulent times with many changes of ownership and production stoppages. In 1993, Burn Stewart Distillers took over the distillery, which was then acquired by the South African Distell Group in 2013. In March 2017, production was halted again for refurbishment work. Despite these challenges, Tobermory remains an important part of Scotland's whisky tradition.

The 21-year-old Tobermory comes from a small-batch production and was bottled in refill casks. After 15 years, it was transferred to Oloroso sherry casks, where it was allowed to mature until completion. The result is a non-chill-filtered whisky that exhibits beautifully sweet and vibrant notes.

Through this careful maturation and the choice of casks, the whisky gains an impressive complexity and depth, making it a true delight for connoisseurs. This production method preserves the natural aromas and ensures an unadulterated, authentic taste.
