The Tomintoul Distillery, located in the Scottish Highlands in Cairngorms National Park and named after the nearby village of Tomintoul, opened its doors in 1964 and is now owned by Angus Dundee Distillers.

At an altitude of 370 meters above sea level, Tomintoul is Scotland's second-highest distillery, surpassed only by the Braeval Distillery, founded in 1973. Although most of the 3.2 million liters of alcohol produced annually are exported to the United States for blends, Tomintoul consistently releases special single-cask bottlings.

Tomintoul's Small Batch Cask Finish series is a remarkable no-age-statement range characterized by its unique finish in a variety of casks. This whisky initially matures in Bourbon casks, where it develops its characteristic aromas, and then receives its finish in White Port Casks, which impart additional depth and a fine, fruity note. This unique combination creates a harmonious and multifaceted flavor profile that delights both connoisseurs and enthusiasts.
