The Tschida winery, located in the municipality of Illmitz in Burgenland in eastern Austria, has gained international recognition for its high-quality dessert wines, especially those made from the "Sämling 88" (Scheurebe) grape variety. The winery is a family business that has existed since 1982 and has been involved in viticulture for several generations. Their commitment to traditional viticultural techniques combined with their unique approach to making sweet wines has made them well-known in the industry. Tschida's vineyards are located on the eastern shore of Lake Neusiedl and comprise around 40 hectares of vines.
