The Macallan Distillers is one of the world’s most renowned whisky distilleries, known for its exceptional single malt whiskies since its foundation in 1824. Situated in the heart of Scotland’s Speyside region, The Macallan is distinguished by its unrivalled commitment to quality and craftsmanship. The Macallan’s philosophy centres on achieving the perfect combination of wood and distillate. Every stage of production, from the selection of the barley malt to maturation in hand-selected oak casks, is monitored with the utmost care. The Master of Wood and the Whisky Mastery Team ensure that every cask meets the highest standards.

The Macallan was inspired by Jordi Roca i Fontané, a pâtissier from Spain who has become world-renowned for his desserts. Together with his two brothers, he runs a restaurant in Girona, Spain. In 2014, Jordi Roca was named ‘World’s Best Pastry Chef’.

The Macallan Intense Arabica is inspired by the Ethiopian Arabica bean and forms part of ‘The Harmony Collection’. The Arabica bean was the first variety of coffee to be cultivated in Ethiopia. The rich, intense flavours of The Macallan Intense Arabica take you on a sensory journey through taste and aroma. This whisky was matured in spiced sherry oak casks.
