Benriach is always on the lookout for a diverse mix of casks from around the world, chosen for their exceptional character and flavors to impart to the whisky. The casks are filled with three different types of spirit: classic, peated, or triple distilled.

The distillery is known for its long-standing tradition and, at the end of 2019, is creating a new product range that further showcases the diversity and versatility of Benriach's "orchard fruit style," thus covering the entire spectrum of whisky flavors.

The color palette of the gift boxes and labels is inspired by the natural environment of Speyside.

Benriach The Sixteen is made using spirits that mature for at least 16 years in a combination of bourbon, sherry, and oak casks. The whisky is then expertly married to create a smooth, sherry-rich single malt, coated with stone fruit, creamy malt, and honey, perfectly complemented by lingering sultanas and a spiced oak finish.
