The history of the family business Beniamino Maschio begins in the middle of the 19th century in San Pietro di Feletto, Italy. Antonio Maschio established a small distillery, thus beginning the family's great adventure in the world of grappas.

In 2002, Beniamino Maschio took over Distilleria dell’Alpe with the intention of developing a variety of liqueurs and gins typical of Venetian tradition.

For Kapriol Old Tom Gin, juniper berries are stored at room temperature for fifteen days before the first distillation begins in copper stills from World War II.
