The Dalwhinnie The Distillers Edition Double Matured is a refined version of the classic Dalwhinnie Single Malt and comes from the high-altitude Dalwhinnie Distillery, located in the heart of the Cairngorms National Park in the Scottish Highlands. The name "Dalwhinnie" is derived from the Gaelic "Dail-coinneeamh," meaning "meeting place" – a reference to the region's historical significance as a hub for travelers.

This special Distillers Edition undergoes double maturation, with the whisky first aged in classic oak casks and then finished in Oloroso Seasoned American Oak Casks. This additional maturation imparts a deeper, sweeter, and more complex aromatic profile, characterized by nutty, fruity, and spicy notes. With an alcohol content of 43% Vol., it remains smooth and elegant, while retaining the subtle smokiness typical of Dalwhinnie.
