The Kavalan SOLIST Pedro Ximénez Cask represents the intense cask influence and concentrated aromatics for which the Kavalan Distillery is world-renowned. This limited single cask bottling matures in selected Pedro Ximénez sherry casks, one of the few sherries made exclusively from the Pedro Ximénez (PX) grape variety. PX is a classic dessert wine, known for its very dark color and its sweet, aromatic depth of caramel, dried fruit, chocolate, and nuts. This maturation process develops the whisky's complex, soft, sweet character, which seamlessly integrates into the Kavalan Solist series' signature style. This bottling is produced as a single cask and bottled at natural cask strength of 58.6% ABV, unchill-filtered, and without colorants.


Taiwan's tropical climate intensifies the cask maturation, ensuring that the typical PX aromas deeply infuse the whisky. This creates a PX Sherry Single Malt that impresses with both its aromatic richness and its soft structure. The dark sweetness of the PX casks combines with the creamy, elegant Kavalan notes to form a harmonious overall picture. Presented in a high-quality wooden box, this whisky is one of the most characterful and sought-after bottlings in the Solist series.
