This single malt was distilled in December 2007 and bottled in February 2023, after maturing for 15 years in a Refill Sherry Butt (DL17168). The long cask maturation in the former sherry cask lends the whisky profound complexity with rich fruit notes, a sweet character, and gentle oak nuances – without masking the original distillate. With an alcohol content of 48.4% Vol., it presents itself as powerful, aromatic, and perfectly balanced.
