The Luigi Francoli Grappa Chardonnay, with 41.5% Vol. in a 0.7-liter bottle, represents classic Italian grappa tradition from Piedmont and combines precise distillation artistry with the strong character of the Chardonnay grape variety. This Grappa di Chardonnay is produced by the traditional distillery Distillerie Francoli, which has been known for generations for artisanal quality and clear style. The basis is freshly pressed Chardonnay pomace, delivered directly from local winemakers to the distillery, thus preserving its aromatic freshness.


At the distillery, the pomace is first fermented, where alcohol is produced from the natural fruit sugar. This is followed by continuous distillation, where alcohol and aromas are gently separated from the pomace. The resulting middle cut is characterized by its particular purity and smoothness. For harmonization, the grappa matures for about six months in stainless steel tanks, preserving its clarity, structure, and varietal typicality. This clear grappa is bottled crystal clear at 41.5%, which gives it a robust body and noticeable power. Thanks to the gentle processing, the distinctive Chardonnay aromas remain clearly discernible, lending the grappa depth and individuality.
