The Francoli family distillery in Ghemme, Italy, has been around since 1875 and is one of the largest and most renowned distilleries in Piedmont. It was the first grappa distillery to have no impact on the environment and guarantees a neutral CO2 balance. For example, the heat for the distillation process is obtained from plant-based fuels. The company has also participated in the "Impatto Zero" project, achieving a protected area of 340,000 square meters in Costa Rica's forests.
