Luigi Francoli Grappa La Visione di Luigi Bianca 40% is a young grappa from Piedmont that showcases the pure, unadulterated essence of Italian pomace distillation. It is produced by Fratelli Francoli Distillerie in Ghemme, a family with a history of distilling dating back to 1875, whose own distillery was founded in 1951 by Luigi Francoli. For La Visione di Luigi Bianca, pomace from the Brachetto, Moscato, Dolcetto and Nebbiolo grape varieties is blended together. It is precisely this diversity that forms part of the Francoli tradition: different types of pomace each contribute their own aromatic character and, together, result in a balanced grappa with fruity and floral notes. The ‘La Visione di Luigi’ Linie represents a contemporary interpretation of the Francoli style, with a focus on the quality of the raw materials, clarity and precise distillation.

As a ‘grappa giovane’, the Bianca is not characterised by ageing in wooden casks, but deliberately preserves the immediate character of the grape pomace used. As a result, the Luigi Francoli Grappa Bianca is fresh, clean and aromatic, with a harmonious balance of fruit, floral nuances and gentle sweetness. In particular, the combination of aromatic Moscato and Brachetto with the characterful grape varieties Dolcetto and Nebbiolo lends the spirit additional complexity. At 40% ABV, the grappa possesses sufficient structure whilst remaining smooth and well-balanced.
