The story of Aura Delikatessen began in 2014 when Martin Juric, owner of Aura Delikatessen, became aware of the company Aura in central Istria during a vacation in Croatia. Aura Orancello is an exceptional orange liqueur from Croatia, made from ripe organic oranges. The oranges are carefully processed, with the peel of the fruit being removed carefully and as thinly as possible. This is crucial as the white part of the peel must not come into contact with the distillate to avoid unwanted bitterness. After peeling, the peels are macerated in an alcoholic distillate, allowing the oranges to release their aromas and characteristic color into the spirit. This elaborate process not only ensures an intense, vibrant color of the Orancello but also a particularly intense, fresh fruity taste.
