Since its foundation in 1793, the Oban Distillery’s picturesque setting and proximity to the harbour in the west of the Scottish Highlands have made it a magnet for new settlers. Oban, which means ‘little bay’ in Gaelic, has, despite initial challenges, developed into one of the most prestigious and efficient distilleries. With just two stills, Oban produces up to 700,000 litres of spirit annually, making it one of the smallest distilleries in the world – a testament to its excellence and tradition in whisky-making.

‘The Distillers’ Edition of the Classic Malts Selection’ features single malt whiskies from seven different distilleries across Scotland. All bottlings undergo additional maturation in a variety of casks, selected by the Master Distiller of each respective distillery.

The Distillers Edition from the Oban Distillery undergoes a second maturation in charred ex-Montilla Fino casks made from American white oak.
