Since 1635, when Andrea Bottega began cultivating grapevines in the hills near Refrontolo, the Bottega family has steadily evolved. After cultivating their own land, Aldo Bottega revolutionized grappa production by introducing the first single-varietal grappa. The Distilleria Bottega, which he founded in 1977, is now located in a renovated 17th-century farmhouse in Bibano di Godega di Sant’Urbano, surrounded by 10 hectares of vineyards.

Grappa, one of Italy's oldest and most traditional beverages, is a pomace brandy obtained from the residues of previously pressed grapes. Maestri Grappa, dedicated to masters of art and culture, is produced using a technique that combines tradition and innovation. The base of this grappa consists of Glera grapes, whose fresh, wine-containing pomace is carefully stored to achieve perfect quality.

After the pomace has been triple-distilled in traditional copper stills, the grappa matures for 12 months in wooden barrels, developing its delicate structure and harmonious aroma.
