Lokita Tequila Reposado 100% Agave Azul 40% comes from Jalisco in Mexico and combines the fresh aromas of blue Weber agave with gentle barrel ageing. This Reposado tequila, made from 100% blue agave, is crafted from carefully selected agaves grown in the higher-altitude growing regions of Altos near Guadalajara, where the climate and altitude provide ideal conditions for the development of exceptional aromas. The agaves take many years to reach full maturity and subsequently form the basis for a characterful tequila with a clearly recognisable raw material profile. Lokita employs a small-batch production process, which allows the combination of origin, agave character and artisanal craftsmanship to come through particularly clearly.

After distillation, Lokita Tequila Reposado is aged for several months in oak casks, during which time the fresh agave and citrus notes are complemented by subtle hints of spice and wood. The barrel ageing lends it additional roundness without masking the original character of the Blue Weber agave from Jalisco. At 40% ABV, the Lokita Reposado 100% Agave is balanced, mild and versatile, with freshness and subtle oak notes blending harmoniously. The 0.7-litre bottle is therefore particularly suitable for lovers of mild Reposado tequila with citrus, agave and spicy notes who are looking for an accessible yet characterful tequila from Mexico.
