The Glencadam Distillery was founded in 1825 and is one of the oldest whisky distilleries in all of Scotland. Glencadam uses traditional methods and copper pot stills to produce its whisky. Typically, the whiskies produced are unpeated, allowing the natural flavours of the malt to unfold.

The Glencadam Reserva de Jerez was launched by the Glencadam Distillery as a limited edition. This whisky was specially created by Master Distiller Robert Fleming and consists of selected whiskies from 2007. Maturation begins in American ex-Bourbon oak casks and is then finished in Oloroso Sherry casks from Jerez. In total, the whisky matures for 15 years before it is finally bottled and offered for sale. Glencadam Reserva de Jerez is the latest in a series of limited cask bottlings from Glencadam.
