The Fettercairn whisky distillery was founded in 1824 by Sir Alexander Ramsay in the Highlands of Scotland. After Glenlivet, Fettercairn was the second distillery to receive an official distillation license. After a multitude of owners, the distillery was sold to United Spirits Limited in 2007. Even today, the bottles bear the white unicorn as a crest, which was introduced as a trademark by Sir Alexander Ramsay. The ring on the neck of the bottle and the grooves of the bottle reflect the special features of the distillation plants with external cooling.

Every Fettercairn Warehouse 2 Single Malt has a tropical character, which results from the copper cooling ring distillation process.

This special single malt from the Highlands is aged in ex-Bourbon barrels, rum barrels and French red wine barriques. After the maturation process, it is bottled without chill filtration or coloring.
