Don Julio González learned his craft and gained experience in tequila production from his own family. Already at the age of 17, he founded his own distillery and began to develop a unique line of tequila.

Don Julio Añejo is aged for at least one year in small white oak barrels. Although this maturation period may seem short at first glance, it is accelerated by the Mexican climate, leading to intense flavor development.

According to legislation, tequila may only be distilled in certain regions of Mexico from the fermented juice of the "Agave Tequiliana Weber."

This traditional production method emphasizes the uniqueness and importance of origin and craftsmanship in the creation of this classic Mexican beverage.
