The Irish whiskey distillery Teeling Distillery opened in Dublin in 1782. In 2015, the distillery was renovated and opened its doors just a few meters from the original site.

In recent years, the distillery has developed into a real tourist magnet, probably because visitors get excellent insights into the production process.

The Teeling 15 Years Old Explorers Series Irish Whiskey Japan Edition, which is based on a recipe of corn and malted barley, first matures for 11 years in traditional ex-Bourbon casks before resting for another four years in Mugi Shochu casks from Japan. The Explorers Series was created using careful and innovative production techniques, resulting in a range of unique Irish Whiskey bottlings. Each bottling in this series reflects the personality and character of each nation, as the whiskeys mature in unique casks. Teeling is bottled without chill filtration and without additives.
