The Lochlea Distillery is an independent single malt distillery located on Lochlea Farm in Ayrshire, near Glasgow in the Lowlands. The old farm was converted into a distillery with a bonded warehouse. In August 2018, the distillery began operations.

Former Laphroaig Distillery Manager John Campbell heads the family business. The Scottish poet, Robert Burns, lived and farmed on the farm from 1777 to 1784.

The barley for production is grown and harvested on-site. The water is sourced from limestone springs deep beneath the distillery. This allows for complete traceability from field to bottle.

Lochlea Harvest Edition (First Crop) is the first bottling of the Harvest Edition. For this exceptional edition, the whisky matured in a carefully selected combination of Port Hogsheads, Oloroso Sherry Butts, and First Fill Bourbon Barrels. With an alcohol content of 46% by volume, the Lochlea Harvest Edition First Crop presents itself with a pleasant strength that optimally highlights its aromas and nuances. Dyes and chill-filtration were deliberately omitted to ensure that the whisky reaches the bottle in its purest form.
