This special single malt Scotch whisky is the result of a creative journey by Dr. Bill Lumsden, Glenmorangie's Master Whisky Maker. His goal: to reflect the sensory contrasts and vibrant energy of the Japanese capital in a whisky.

For the first time in Glenmorangie's history, the extremely rare and demanding Mizunara oak from Japan was used – a wood known for its delicate, complex aromas and challenging maturation process. This Mizunara cask finish was combined with whisky from sherry and bourbon casks, resulting in a unique aromatic profile of sweetness, spice, and exotic notes.

The Glenmorangie A Tale of Tokyo combines Scottish distillation artistry with Japanese elegance and impresses with a multifaceted composition – fruity, floral, spicy, and surprisingly exotic.
