The Lochlea Distillery is an independent single malt distillery located on Lochlea Farm in Ayrshire, near Glasgow in the Lowlands. The old farm was converted into a distillery with a bonded warehouse. The distillery began operations in August 2018.

Former Laphroaig Distillery Manager John Campbell heads the family business. The Scottish poet, Robert Burns, lived on and farmed the land from 1777 to 1784.

The barley for production is grown and harvested on-site. The water is sourced from limestone springs deep beneath the distillery. This ensures complete traceability from field to bottle.

Lochlea Harvest Edition (Second Crop) is the second bottling of the Harvest Edition. The marriage of port casks, first-fill bourbon casks, and STR barriques creates a taste experience that is second to none. Particularly noteworthy is the significantly increased proportion of port casks, which gives the whisky an unparalleled creaminess.
