Tullamore D.E.W. Irish Whiskey ROUND 40% showcases the familiar mellow character of this traditional Irish whiskey in an unusual, temporarily introduced round glass bottle. This special bottling was prompted by a supply shortage following a fire at a bottle supplier’s premises. To ensure supplies continued, Tullamore D.E.W. opted for an alternative bottle shape, whilst the contents remain unchanged and true to the tried-and-tested original. This limited edition in a round bottle thus combines a special collector’s appeal with the familiar style of Tullamore D.E.W. The 0.7-litre bottle stands out visually from the regular design whilst also marking an extraordinary phase in the brand’s history.

Inside, it still contains the classic Tullamore D.E.W. Original Irish Whiskey, a triple-distilled blend that combines different styles of whiskey. This blend gives the whisky the smooth, balanced and versatile character for which Tullamore D.E.W. is renowned. The combination of different distillates brings together fruitiness, gentle spiciness and a pleasant smoothness, whilst the triple distillation ensures additional smoothness. At 40% ABV, this blended Irish whisky from Ireland is suitable both for drinking neat and for use in long drinks and cocktails. It is precisely the combination of a familiar contents and the rare ROUND bottle edition that makes this bottling an interesting option for fans of the brand and collectors of special Tullamore D.E.W. designs.
