The Bladnoch 11 Years comes from one of the few distilleries in Scotland's Lowland region, which is located at the southernmost point of the country. Its location in the Lowlands is known for its influence on the taste of whisky from this region.
This particular single malt was aged for a total of 11 years in Bourbon and red wine casks.
This double maturation allows the whisky to develop a wide range of aromas and flavors, as it absorbs both the sweetness of the Bourbon casks and the complexity of the red wine casks.
This whisky is bottled without chill-filtration, meaning it is bottled at its natural concentration and with all the aromas and oils from the maturation process.
