PetNat, short for Petillant Naturel or Méthode Rural, is an old and traditional method of sparkling wine production. In this method, the must is transformed into sparkling wine in just one fermentation. During this fermentation, the yeast converts the existing sugar into carbon dioxide and alcohol. In the controlled Charmat method, the carbon dioxide cannot escape and is elegantly integrated into the wine.

"PetNat" is characterized by its ability to build controlled pressure. It is freed from turbidity through filtration and is clear in taste. As a result, there are no unpleasant surprises with this sparkling wine regarding taste, appearance, or explosive opening of the bottle.
