The Mossburn Signature Casks series reflects the typical characteristics of Scottish malts. All whiskies in this series are initially matured in American oak casks and then stored for a second period in custom-made, copper-lined Mossburn casks. The Mossburn casks are produced according to their own specifications. A distinction is made between Cask Bill #1 for malts from the Island region and Cask Bill #2 for the Speyside region. All bottlings in the Signature Cask series are bottled without chill-filtration or artificial colouring.

Mossburn Foursquare 12 Years Old is a whisky that first matures in ex-bourbon casks and then receives its finish in casks previously filled with Foursquare Rum from Barbados. This finish in rum casks gives the whisky special aromas and additional depth of flavour.

This is a limited edition, originating from a batch of only 38 casks.
