The Francoli family distillery in Ghemme, Italy, has been around since 1875 and is one of the largest and most renowned distilleries in Piedmont. It was the first grappa distillery to have no environmental impact and guarantees a neutral CO2 balance. For example, heat for the distillation process is obtained from vegetable fuels. The company also participated in the "Impatto Zero" project, establishing a protected area of 340,000 square meters in Costa Rica's forests.

Erbaluce is a grape variety primarily grown in northern Piedmont. Its grapes are characterized by floral aromas and strong acidity. Erbaluce Grappa is produced through steam distillation, without barrel aging, to preserve its original flavors. This grappa has an alcohol content of 41.5 percent by volume and is a highly esteemed spirit of Piedmont.
