The blend consists of 12.1% Macallan Single Malt, 38.9% Highland Park Single Malt, 15.6% Blended Scotch Parcel, 29.3% Blended Malt Parcel, and 4.1% Caol Ila Single Malt.

The whisky matures in a fascinating selection of casks, including First Fill Bourbon Barrels, Recharred Hogsheads, Refill Sherry Butts, and Refill Hogsheads. These casks give the Vellichor incredible complexity, characterized by aromas of warm spices, fruity notes, and a fine oak spice.
