The El Padrino Tequila Añejo 100% Puro de Agave is a high-quality, traditionally produced tequila that impresses with its long maturation and complex aroma profile. Made from 100% blue Weber agave, this tequila undergoes a meticulous production process that gives it its mild yet intense character.

The agave hearts are first roasted for 36 to 54 hours in stone ovens, allowing the natural sugars to develop optimally and giving the tequila its characteristic sweet and slightly smoky note. This is followed by a slow fermentation over 48 to 60 hours before the tequila is distilled in traditional copper pot stills. This method ensures a particularly rich flavor with fine notes of caramel and oak.

After distillation, the El Padrino Añejo matures for 14 to 16 months in American oak barrels, which gives it additional depth and smoothness. The long barrel aging gives it a balanced interplay of sweet agave, spicy oak, and creamy caramel.
