The Tres Hombres Edition 49 La Palma Caña Pura 2022 was created at the renowned Aldea distillery on La Palma. After distillation from freshly pressed sugarcane juice, this rum initially underwent a 5-month aging period on land. Subsequently, it was aged for an additional 6 months at sea aboard the Tres Hombres in selected former Palo Cortado and Moscatel casks. This unusual method of aging on the cargo ship imparts a distinctive aroma and characteristic flavor to the rum.
