Rum and honey are a particularly cherished combination in the Canary Islands.

For the gentle and sweet honey rum from the Aldea distillery on La Palma, sugarcane is grown without the use of artificial fertilizers or pesticides.

After distillation from the juice of this freshly pressed sugarcane and a short maturation period, the rum is refined with fine, locally produced organic honey. For the voyage on the sailing ship Tres Hombres, this spiced rum is transferred into former Armagnac barrels, giving the "La Palma Ron y Miel 2022" an exquisite finish on its nearly 10,000-mile or five-month sea journey.

The bottle labels are adorned with motifs of the Tres Hombres and their adventurous journeys. The bottles are sealed with natural corks and beeswax.

This wax is enriched with color pigments ground from natural materials in a traditional windmill in Zaandam, giving the bottles an authentic and environmentally friendly finish.
