El Mayor deeply roots its tequila tradition in the soil. The tequila is made exclusively from high-quality Weber Blue agaves, which thrive in the rocky lowlands of Jalisco. These plants grow at an altitude of approximately 2,300 meters, where the mineral-rich sandy soil produces particularly succulent agaves, giving El Mayor Tequila a characteristic taste that reflects the regional warmth of Jalisco.

El Mayor's Extra Añejo symbolizes the art of meticulous aging. It is our highest quality tequila, made from 100% agave, aged for at least three and a half years in American white oak barrels. This process gives it a rich and complex flavor profile, considered a reward for patient connoisseurs.
