The Loch Lomond Distillery was founded in 1814 at the northern end of Loch Lomond near Tarbet. The current distillery was established in 1965 by the former owners of the Littlemill Distillery, a few miles from Glasgow.

Master Blender Michael Henry leads the distillery, bringing his passion for distilling and brewing whisky, which he developed early on through his proximity to distilleries. He has been the Master Blender of Loch Lomond Distillery since 2014.

Loch Lomond Whiskies are proud partners of "The Open," the oldest and most prestigious golf tournament in the world. Colin Montgomerie, Loch Lomond's whisky ambassador, co-developed this expression as a tribute to the history of "The Open."

The selection of casks is carefully done by hand to complement the distillery's distinctive style with additional depth of flavor. Inspired by the surrounding landscape of Loch Lomond, one of Scotland's deepest lochs, a subtle whisky of outstanding quality is created. This special whisky matures for 23 years in American oak casks and is then finished for up to six months in the finest Manzanilla sherry casks.
