Leo Hillinger is a visionary entrepreneur and winemaker who has transformed his passion for winemaking into international acclaim. His winery, which now boasts a proud 100 hectares of vineyards, is renowned not only in Austria but worldwide for its excellent wines. These wines find their way to over 20 countries around the globe, underscoring the global presence and popularity of the Hillinger brand. After apprenticeships in Europe and California, Hillinger purchased 12 hectares of vineyards, laying the foundation for his successful winery in Jois, which opened in 2004. The company expanded with several Wineshop & Bars throughout Austria and a long-standing business relationship with the Constantia Glen winery in South Africa. In 2012, Hillinger was awarded "Entrepreneur of The Year" by Ernst & Young, highlighting his outstanding role in the wine industry.

Hillinger Hill Angel White is made from 100% Sauvignon Blanc grapes. After pressing, the wine is fermented in stainless steel tanks at a controlled 16°C and then aged on fine lees for two months. These careful steps give the wine its characteristic freshness and texture. With a storage potential of 2 years, the wine is traditionally sealed with a natural cork.
