The Belizean Blue Rum - Signature Blend is a product of Travellers Distillery, located in Central American Belize. The distillery's origins can be traced back to a bar in Belize City known as Travellers. The bar's founder, Don Omario, began producing his own rum blends, which he sold in his bar.

Due to the great success of these blends, Don Omario eventually founded Travellers Liquors Ltd. The distillery places great emphasis on using locally grown, fairly produced sugar cane. The molasses obtained from this sugar cane is crucial for the authentic taste of the rum, which is characteristic of this region. The rums of the Signature Blend mature for up to seven years and are bottled without the addition of sugar or colorants.

This high-quality rum is dedicated to the Belizean Blue, a butterfly native to the jungles of Belize. This butterfly, known for its vibrant blue wings and a wingspan of up to 12 cm, is one of the largest of its kind worldwide.
