Dos Maderas combines the rum traditions of Barbados and Guyana in the Caribbean with sherry aging in the renowned Bodega Williams & Humbert in Jerez, Spain. The bodega, founded in 1877 and now run by the Medina family, is the largest single-roof bodega in Europe, housing over 60,000 oak barrels. It is known for its Dry Sack Sherry and Gran Duque D'Alba. In the 2000s, the family diversified its product range and launched a special rum that reflects the heritage and quality of the bodega.

This blend, consisting of 5-year-old rum from Guyana and 5-year-old rum from Barbados, is shipped to our bodega in Jerez, southern Spain, for further refinement after its initial maturation. There, the rum ages for an additional year in carefully selected, old Pedro Ximenez sherry casks, which gives it a special depth and complexity. This additional aging, which absorbs the aromas of the sherry, creates an incomparable taste experience.
