The Transcontinental Rum Line FRENCH WEST INDIES VO Rum is an Agricole rum creation that impresses with its production and maturation method. This rum is distilled in Creole Columns, a traditional distillation method known for its ability to preserve the complex aromas of sugarcane. It is then aged in American oak barrels, whose wood structure and previous use enrich the rum with an additional variety of flavors.

The maturation of this rum takes place in two phases, utilizing both the natural climatic conditions of the tropics and the more moderate climatic conditions of Europe. In the first phase, the rum matures for at least three years under the intense tropical conditions, which ensure an accelerated interaction between the rum and the oak wood of the barrels. After this initial maturation period, the rum is brought to Europe, where it undergoes an additional maturation of approximately one year.

The result of this carefully monitored and controlled two-stage maturation is an Agricole rum of exceptional quality and complexity.
