MICHAEL Weißburgunder Ried Rosenberg Selektion Vulkanland Steiermark DAC 2022 is an expressive and refined white wine, made exclusively from 100% perfectly ripe Pinot Blanc grapes. These originate from the renowned Ried Rosenberg vineyard, a site known for its mineral-rich soils and optimal sun exposure. The hand harvest on September 28, 2022, guarantees a precise selection of the best grapes, which are then gently processed.

After harvesting, fermentation and maturation take place in stainless steel tanks with lees aging, which gives the wine additional creaminess, depth, and an elegant structure. This lees aging ensures a harmonious balance between fruit, acidity, and minerality, and underscores the complexity of this Pinot Blanc. After an appropriate maturation period, the wine is bottled and securely sealed with a screw cap to optimally preserve its freshness and aromas. With a storage potential of 2–3 years, it can be enjoyed young or allowed to develop its full expressiveness with a little aging.
