The Macallan 12 Years Old Colour Collection is part of a special series that celebrates The Macallan's uncompromising commitment to natural color and meticulous sherry seasoning. For generations, the Speyside distillery has stood for exceptional cask quality and precise maturation. This bottling uses American oak casks that were previously seasoned with sherry wine in Jerez de la Frontera. A subtle proportion of European oak complements the maturation, providing additional structure and depth.


As the youngest bottling in the series, the Macallan 12 Years Colour Collection 0.7 L displays the lightest natural hue within the range, an elegant Golden Oak, created exclusively through cask maturation. The packaging design was developed in collaboration with artist and graphic designer David Carson, who used Albariza chalk soil from Jerez as a design element. In addition to the whisky, the iconic Easter Elchies House, considered the spiritual home of The Macallan, is depicted. This Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky 40% combines cultural inspiration with traditional maturation artistry and is delivered in a gift box.
